Pink Stone Album - MP3
A digital download of Wren’s third album, Pink Stone: Songs from Moose Lodge, inspired by four seasons in Washington’s Methow Valley.
At times both melancholic and joyous, the ten-song collection showcases Wren’s emotive vocals and classical-guitar accompaniment, bolstered by roots/Americana instrumentation and soothing textures of electric guitars and harmony vocals.
Your order includes a high-quality download of the album in MP3 format.
For a brief time, Wren called Moose Lodge, a cabin in the Okanogan Forest, her home. Creatively adrift and physically unwell, over her months in the Methow Valley her strength began to return. With it came her voice, and she penned a series of songs and writings inspired by the surrounding golden hills, wild river valleys, and mountain peaks. The result was a new album of music and an extended lyric book that tell her story of perseverance and renewal in the beautiful Methow Valley.
Pink Stone was produced at Airtime Studios in Bloomington, Indiana by David Weber (Moira Smiley, Carrie Newcomer, Straight No Chaser) and features Jason Wilber (John Prine band), Krista Detor, and world flutist Gary Stroutsos.
